Description

I made this following a series of more tutorials by molegato on his Patreon. The original outcome from the tutorial was hastily made so I went back and retextured it to suit my style and managed to learn a simple little animation after following this tutorial on adding bones to your meshes (which I need to go back and reread). What took this so long to be posted was the fact that saving as a gif in Photoshop was giving me a lot of problems in keeping what few colors this model has intact. There's probably less than 50 colors and the model is set to "shadeless" in Blender so there's no darker pixels being used yet setting it to 256 colors with no dithering did nothing to help.

After asking for advice, I randomly discovered that what I was viewing was a so called "optimized" version when saving and that clicking the "Original" tab made the image appear how I intended it.

Oh well, at least I learned now so I can save myself the trouble in the future. That seems to be a big thing when it comes to learning Blender and occasionally new things about Photoshop: Hours of Googling for a simple solution. But now I know! And in this case knowing is most of the battle! The rest is guesswork and throwing stuff together while hoping it sticks.

[Edit] Forgot to pick a name for this little guy so, doing some quick research and thinking of silly words, I give you Sir Saguaro Pricklebottom!

I created an animation in blender. The tutorial said to save it as ogv but it does not display as yours does here. Please explain how to save what format for it to display like this where it works non stop. Mine shows up as a blank square with ogv download. The aninamtion does not show up unless you click on download. My android tablet does not even support ogv. I can see yours without any problems. Thanks for your help. If you prefer you can note me.
